Sunflowers

Oh, what a beautiful wall of sunflowers we have! Here a group of local educators visit to see what a school garden looks like. This training held in late September is part of a state-wide Got Dirt? initiative.

These are adult hands holding up this giant sunflower. We didn't measure it, but it's huge!

Tomatoes starting to ripen

Tomatoes are finally starting to ripen. Here's a tray full of what fell off in the wind today. Mostly Roma's, but a few Celebrity tomatoes that will have to ripen up a bit.
